My cousin Joshua celebrated his 3rd birthday on October 8. They had a birthday party for him Sunday, the 12th, and it was pretty awesome. He had friends from his sunday school class there, along with our family. It was a fireman theme, and they had little plastic fireman hats for all the kids to wear. They even took them to a firestation close to the house, and they gave the kids rides on one of the fire trucks! I even went on one! haha, it was prety fun if I do say so.

Musings of a procrastinator....

As you can see by the title, I am a procrastinator. Well, not always. But sometimes, like now, I want to put things off. For example, I aboslutely, positively, do NOT want to get started on my English homework. Even though it's not going to be too difficult, it's just the thought of schoolwork....and I'm feeling sluggish again. Welcome to my life.

I suppose I should muse about something to help support the title of this post. Hmm.....well, for starters i'm trying to get my first job. Not an easy task, let me tell you. Ah well, we shall see...we shall see. Now, i've often read funny stories in other people's blogs, and have just now decided that I shall share one with you. Whoever...you..are. Ha.

I attend college, and during my lunch break, I usually leave and go to my grandparents house to eat and chat with them. But a couple weeks ago they were away. And so I ate lunch on campus. Well, while I was waiting in line for my food to be prepared, this boy(maybe my age, 17? who knows) is staring at me. And I can't help but think that he looks familiar. And then it hits me that I took a gym class with him, but only talked to him like, twice. Well, he starts talking to me after we figure out that we do in fact know each other, and guess what? That boy didn't leave me alone my entire break! We walked all over the campus, and I even considered hiding out in the bathroom. But didn't. I'm too nice sometimes I think. He talked about the most random things EVER. Finally it was time for my class and I hurried off as quickly as I could without being impolite. And, much to my dismay, I have to eat on campus tomorrow. Needless to say I will either 1.) see if I can go somewhere else for lunch, and if that doesn't work then 2.) eat really, really fast and then hightail it to the library or something to hide. =]

Such is my life at the moment. Oh, if you think of it, keep me in your prayers. I'm going through a rough patch that doesn't want to clear up. Thanks=]
